What exactly does TAT/turnaround time mean, really?
We calculate turnaround-time (or, production time) after we receive your payment. If you happen to order at 5:00 in the evening that day is not part of your official TAT; the following day is. Major holidays and vacations (which I will announce well ahead of time) are also not included in the TAT. Not to be nitpicky! But sometimes you wonder why your goods are postmarked a day later than the stated TAT. Basically, if TAT is 14 days, expect that if you ordered your goods and paid for them promptly, you will receive your package in somewhere around 16-18 days. Often you will be pleasantly surprised and they'll be much speedier than that! I do update each of you on shipping status and use delivery confirmation, so you won't be wondering where you are. Please note that TAT does *not* mean order-to-door time. Turnaround-time doesn't include transit. Once the box is in the hands of the post office, it is no longer Cremoso's responsibility. Take it up with USPS if necessary, if you ever encounter a problem--I will be more than happy to help you!

Who runs Cremoso?
Roxy, a student at an esoteric shiatsu/massage/Traditonal Chinese Medicine school and (former) co-op house inhabiter. I now live in a quaint, lovely, home of my own that is able to better serve as a facility for my darling Cremoso. I'm 21 and came up with Cremoso on a wild whim because I was tired of too-costly products with ingredients I didn't agree with (or didn't agree with me!). I started off small; got bigger on Etsy, and moved here, expanding my product line immensely and honing my perfumery skills daily. I like cooking exotic foods from around the world, eating chocolate fluffy things, getting radical about causes, getting radical about Truth-seeking, RPGs on old-skool consoles, dogs, yoga, a good night of sleep, rambling in the woods, and all things of a mystic bent.

How does shipping work? New New New for October!
Those within the US receive free shipping for orders $75 and over. However, I can only fit six 18 oz. scrub jars in a box, or approximately $100-125 of items in a flat-rate box. If your order does not fit into a flat-rate box, I will contact you and discuss either an alternate carrier or an additional charge for another box. If someone orders six large scrubs, the price is under $90. That customer is eligible for free shipping in the US, but Cremoso pays nearly $20 in shipping if shipping via USPS. I will let you know if your order will not fit in a standard flat-rate box--sometimes a larger, flatter box works well and can save on shipping. *In short, I have made the decision to offer free shipping in the US for orders over $75 up to $13.00--flat-rate and a half, approximately. This is NOT retroactive for pending orders but rather for all orders placed as of 10/4. Thank you for your understanding!* Those in...elsewhere (anywhere!) will receive free shipping for orders $75 and over IF THE PARCEL WEIGHS LESS THAN FOUR LBS! I am sorry to announce this; however, shipments over four pounds must be upgraded to flat-rate which, for many areas, is $40+ dollars. As you can imagine, this cuts greatly into profit. For any international order oer $75 and around 4 pounds, I will slash your shipping costs in half. I apologize for this, but shipping has become much too expensive. Thank you for your understanding! I currently ship USPS Priority Mail. It should take 2-3 to reach you after shipping out, depending on where you're located. Flat-rate is often a good choice for medium-sized orders. All postage has gone up signficantly quite recently. Flat-rate boxes ship anywhere domestically, any weight, for 9.10. For smaller orders, shipping is 4.60-7.90, depending on your zone. For larger orders, shipping may be a bit more, so I do my best to cram an entire order into a flat-rate box. If you are from Alaska, Hawaii, Cananda, or elsewhere other than the United States, I will adjust your shipping as need be. If your shipping quote is off or seems to be too pricey or too little, I will adjust it via PayPal in less than 48 hours (most of the time, much less than 48 hours). eCrater's shipping system for combined-item orders is a bit difficult to predict.

What happens if my shipping quota is off?
If you are charged much too little or overcharged at all, I will remedy your shipping costs in under 48 hours. Usually shipping will be around 5.50-9.10, and never more than 9.10 for shipping inside the US.

Can I add/change/omit colour, fragrance, oil, etc.?
I'm always reformulating my products--ask for something and you shall get it. Want a lighter scrub? Ask! A fluffier one, a denser one? Will do! No colour or no scent? Okay! Also, I'm always open to super-customized orders; if you would like me to blend a particular scent just for you (a long-lost favourite or a dupe of an expensive brand) I will try my best to make you happy. I'm also happy to change formulas for all of my handmade products--if you want grapeseed oil instead of coconut or shea, just ask. Same goes for extra scrubbies, or salt instead of sugar, or brown sugar instead of white. If you want an herbal additive or a bit of just about anything in your product, I can try my best! Also if the pictured item has a colour/glitter/no glitter/etc that you want changed, I can also try. Be aware and understanding that if you ask for something quite custom, your order may take a bit longer, or be more expensive if you want an exotic ingredient. But I will find it for you!

I don't like an item/scent--can I return or exchange?
Due to the handmade nature of the products, returns would simply go in the trash. I cannot resell the items to other customers. If you are unhappy with a product for any reason, please contact me first at cremosoinfo@gmail.com and I will try to remedy the situation if it is a matter of an "off-batch" or something I was personally liable for. I cannot refund you for items damaged in shipping. Some items such as bath bombs are fragile and subject to humidity and hard treatment. I make sure to have the USPS worker mark each box FRAGILE, but beyond that, what you see is what you get. If there is major damage (leakages where an amount of product was lost, etc.), contact me and I will see what I can do.

I just saw a new item I want to add to my order. Can I?
Maybe. Maybe not. Your order may well already be taped up and ready to go. At the very least, if you do feel the need to add to your order, I will have to push your order down to the newest and therefore turnaround time may be much longer. If you decide within 24 or fewer hours that you would like something, contact me and I will try.

Scent Requests--keep 'em coming!
We have many, many scent requests through email and other avenues and I LOVE to work on new fragrances. If there is any scent that you enjoy that you don't see listed, or if you have a layered scrub you'd love to see, or if you want the bath bombs/perfume oils/etc. to have your favourite for the month, please don't hestitate to give me a message. As always I am also more than happy to dupe your discontinued, favourite items--this includes LUSH. They will not be straight dupes, as I don't have access to that kind of chemical laboratory! However they will be similar in note and "feel." It also includes any other company whose products are not available. If you would like to see more, say, foody scents--please ask! If you don't feel I do enough with cinnamon, or beachy scents, again...ask away. I will never turn down the challenge ;). It may be a month or so (or shorter, depending!) before I get the formula right...as I do like to test and perfect as much as possible, but I will more than likely get the scent to you. So keep them coming!

What if I need my goods quickly? Will you take longer than stated to send my goods?
If you absolutely need rush order--say, for a birthday or other event--, I will try my best. However with the anticipated influx of orders I currently will charge a $5 in-house rush fee and get your order out as soon as possible. Please use this judiciously and not just because you want your stuff "now." Thank you! :). Sometimes, depending on how many orders I receive in one day, I may take a day or two longer (or shorter; you may be pleasantly surprised!) to get your goods shipped out. For instance, when I reopen on Friday, I expect to get many, many orders in one day--meaning all of those must go out in 14 days. If I am unable to meet demand at any time, I will take necessary steps to remedy the problem--either by putting the shop on hold to catch up or communicating with EACH and EVERY one of you and update you every step of the way. You will never wonder when your products shipped, and you will never have messages gone frustratingly-unanswered. In short, I am an excellent communicator and will personalize your experience because customer service is as--or more--important than even the products themselves.

How can I pay for my goods?
It's easy! You can use PayPal to check out, or if you do not wish to use PayPal you can use your credit card through the PayPal system. It is a secure cart/payment system, so no worries there. I'm now accepting Google Checkout. It's a great system--you do need to sign up for it, but it's a pretty quick process--and even calculates promos and discounts.

August updates! 8/9
HEY! Guess what? You might be able to wash up and get clean from head to toe with Cremoso. Soon, my lovelies. Yup--that's right. Cold-process soap made with yummy butters, rich oils, soothing additives, and delicious scents, including the ubiquitous Pink Sugar, Ouzo and Cream, Nectar, Dark Petals, Innocence, Gothic Lolita in Purple, Hookah Bar, Kink, Celebration, Coffeehouse Snob (mmm, scrubby bar!), Amarzipan Beauty (mmm, another scrubby bar!), and oh so many more new scents that my partner and I dream up (he's going to be the muscle behind the actual soap-making; I'll be the brains...read: fragrance, colour, additives). And guess what else? Ooh! Bath creams. You asked! You receive ^_^. Not sure what I'm going to use; I don't like any of the bases much...I'm looking to get a paraben-free base to which I can add my magic butters-blend and leave unwhipped (allowing for quicker delivery and more scent selection). Aaaaaand, Halloween! Boo! Mwahaha. You will love the warm, spicy, sexy, and homey scents I have in store. Promise ^_~. And wait, don't stop reading! By next week I should, with help of some tech-savvy pals, a brand new forum to play in. Currently accepting moderators ;), as I have no time to do that job! As you may have guessed, the large half-year sale brought in some serious business! I've also been working on local orders, wholesaling (more on that soon!), and have some promotional gigs in the works. So current turnaround-time isn't super-pretty but it's gonna get better as I streamline and become more efficient and have some help from a worker or two now and again in pinchy times. However, with the new facility I've been doing remarkably well on time management and getting orders filled and shipped. I now ship once a week (with some exceptions, as is inevitable), and that happens to be Monday nights. Soon I'll have a helper on hand more often to assist me in my orders...he'll take care of mixing, blending, cutting, labelling, packaging, shipping a good deal of the time. Once we figure out an arrangement, this helper (my lovely partner) will be on hand all day 'cause he lives with me! Yay! Not sure when this will begin to take flight but I'm training him and he's meticulous and very good. I'll still take care of all the scenting and creative work, but he has some ideas of his own for cold-process natural soaps and tarts as well... So expect speedier production. New goal for after working-vacation? 7-14 business days TAT, give or take a few days. Expect some fun changes: I have someone who has been making perfume oils with a very glorious bent and she is selling them on my site. On the backburner I have some new products in the works, including more facial care, creamy shower gels, body gloss, dry oil spray, and in-shower lotion (with a touch of subtle mica glimmer!). I am removing phenonip from all of my handmade products. I'm looking into healthy alternatives such as grapefruit extract. This just means that you'll have to make sure not to dip dirty grubby fingers into your pot of scrub or whipped shea ^_^. Since any product made without water does not require or even have any functional use for a preservative, I decided to eliminate them with your healthy bodies in mind! As you can see from the upcoming products, I'm moving to offer more all-natural choices. I already have a few natural products and enjoy those immensely (Tired Old Doggies Foot Fizzies, Fetish Foot bars, Whipped Shea Fluff...). I would like to experiment with natural colorants more extensively. Currently I use only FD&C colorings (translation? colorants that are safe for use in food, drugs, and cosmetics--but refrain from taking a lick, no matter how pretty or grapey it is ^_^), but plan to play around more with herbs (saffron can make a potent yellow!) and micas. But beware once things get into a normal routine...I don't much like boredom! I want to do salt scrubs...and bath salts...and tarts...and bubble bath and shower gel...and and and...

Vacation/Catch-up Time Schedules NEW
Sometimes I need to catch up on orders. I will notify those who ordered via email on current volume, and let them know if their orders will take a few days longer than the approximate turnaround time. This is the exception rather than the norm. However, life does tend to happen, and I like to keep everyone informed. I tend to work a bit more slowly than some companies due to my busy schedule and the fact that I'm a one-woman operation with no car (out of baking soda? can't run down to the store and get it...need to drop off packages in a hurry? no can do!). With my new workshop things should run a lot more smoothly, but there are always hitches and holdups when it's just one person behind the company. Sometimes when order volume is very high I close up shop for a week or two. This keeps the turnaround time down and helps me regain a bit of peace and calm, which means a better product for you! With all of the things I do in my life, I also like to take the infrequent vacation from Cremoso (and school, and...), and here's what I have planned, keeping in mind that these vacation days may or may not (I will post this prominently) count as turnaround-time and any orders placed before this times will take a bit longer to ship out: September 28th-October 5th (tentative) October 25th-November 5th (tentative) December 20th-Jan 15th (tentative) Note that due to various factors and situations that come up , such as occasions and holidays and the like, I may extend, reduce, add, or subtract some of these vacations. Many are due to preparation for the Little Black Box sample boxes, others are in anticipation of various events.

Boo! Halloween!
What's happening for Roxy's favourite holiday? Who knows! But you can bet it will be mouthwateringly spooky, with lots of gooey caramel apples, deep-fried cinnamon-dusted treats, candy corn, bonfires, hot cider, piles of burning fallen leaves, hot cocoa, and the last whispers of summer carnivals. You can also expect some great limited-edition treats...and tricks! What will YOUR bath bomb or scrub have lodged in the middle? A golden ticket for free Cremoso goodies? A beautiful gemstone? A wickedly-funny poem written by Roxy? A creepy plastic spider? You can bet there will be bath bombs and powders that turn the bath blood red (give them to your friends--the bombs will look 'normal' from the outside!) or eerie black. But look forward most of all to amazing scents for every type of fragrance-lover...including Marquis de Sade for all of you deep, dark, sexy types (be prepared...this one holds some wicked resinous notes!) and lots of gorgeous foodie scents (I've been neglecting those of you who love bakery scents sugar-overdose scents!). September Updates - 9/27
Well! As you all know, I've been struggling with fibromyalgia and the side effects of the medication. However, I am super-pleased to announce that with proper planning and hard work (and some good, sweet downtime!), I've been on top of things--even more so than before. Six months into etailing, I feel I've learned much; I *know* I have learned much. There's still tons to learn and figure out and I know that while I cannot make everyone happy, I will try my best to make my customers happy! What's in store for October? Well, until late on the 6th, I will be closed to catch up on pending customer orders and prepare for an international exhibit (you'll find more later...) and do a lot of wholesale orders. Hopefully I can sneak in a few days of vacation! TAT is down to 7-14 business days, which I am very happy about. I can't guarantee that this speediness will last during the busy holiday season, but I hope to hire a part-time helper very soon (training her, etc). What's up now? Well, wholesale exclusive Halloween blends are up at MagicalOmaha.com. Items are up at Pampertini.com and soon, exclusive Halloween items will be available (late in the first week of October, hopefully!). Wholesale and exclusives with a *very* popular multi-etalier boutique are being discussed and shall perhaps be available late in October/early in November, including very wonderful exclusives! Other than that, I am finally getting into Click-n-Ship, Carrier Pickup...so that means I have a scale, which means accurate to the ounce postage. Yay! It'll make things run much more smoothly. Also, a website is in the works. With pretty photos, drop-down menus, and easy-to-browse features. Hooray! this shall bring in a larger customer base for sure. Round, adorable cold-process soaps are being developed. Collaborations with Serena of Cobalt Blends are in the works. Bubble bath/shower gel/shampoo and bath creams are also in development, along with a very, very special item that will be in stock only and around near the holidays to scent your home... *Most* of the time! If you want to try a scent, let me know. Usually I can do that! If you want to try a product, I can do that, too. Please request only 1-3 samples. I may not be able to offer the scents you choose but I will do my best. I will try to include a scrub, lotion, perfume, soap, tart or bath bomb powder sample in every order. I will also try to choose a scent or item that seems to fit with your orders' contents, or to give you something new to try out! If you have a friend/boyfriend/child/husband/girlfriend you would like to enable, please ask and I will try to include a little sample just for them! Let me know what kinds of scents they like.

Closure Updates as of 10/7
Due to complications of illness (please refer to the forum for more information; the link can be found on the homepage), Cremoso must close for approximately two weeks. Halloween will be extended past October. Due to the way Cremoso will run upon reopening, turnaround time will be drastically-shortened. Only in-stock items will be sold. Pending orders will be completed within approximately 7-10 days. Please contact cremosoinfo @ gmail.com if you have questions or require a refund. During the closure, Roxy's new Cremoso partner Carey (her fiance) will help make large batches of bath bomb bags, Halloween items, bath butter parfaits, tarts, soap on-order, and more.
